The Butterfly House is home to thousands of colorful, fragile creatures. It is located in the city center, in one of the wings of the Hofburg Palace, behind the famous Mozart monument. The facility with an area of 280 square meters resembles a huge greenhouse. The temperature inside is 26 degrees, humidity - 80%, which are the natural conditions for the life of butterflies. The inhabitants of the house are about 4000 species of diurnal and nocturnal butterflies. A large glass aquarium is placed right at the entrance, in which the pupae live, from which new butterflies will soon hatch. Boards have been placed in the aquarium that tell how tropical butterflies reproduce, what their development cycle is and what species are in the museum.
