9.30 am – Starting point: Hilton Hotel, Sofia. Guided city bus tour of Sofia.

The sightseeing tour includes some of the most spectacular places in the heart of Sofia.

Highlights of the tour: Alexander Nevski Cathedral – the biggest one in Bulgaria, St. Sophia Church, National Gallery for Foreign Art, National Library, National Palace of Culture, Borisova Garden – the biggest park in Sofia, Eagle’s Bridge, the monument of Vassil Levski - a great Bulgarian national hero, Council of Ministers, Banya Bashi Mosque, St. Nedelya – an old metropolitan church, the Administration of the President and National Archaeological Museum, former Royal Palace (now housing National Art Gallery and Ethnographic Museum), National Assembly Square, where in the middle of the square sits the impressive Tsar Osvoboditel (King Liberator).

Upon good weather conditions part of the tour will be walking, part of it – by bus.

12.30 am – Lunch at Happy Sushi Marinela, Sofia

1.30 pm – After lunch, departure for Starosel.

3.30 pm – Arrival in Starosel. Visit to the Thracian Temple Complex in Starosel.

This is the oldest ever found royal Thracian complex with a mausoleum. It dates back to the end of 5th and the beginning of 4th century BC.

4.30 pm – Wine tasting in Starosel Winery

6.00 pm – Dinner in Starosel Winery – 3-course menu and wine

8.00 pm – Departure for Hissarya.

8.30 pm – Check-in at Sana Spa hotel ****, Hissarya

Breakfast.

Free morning for use of the spa center - swimming pool with mineral water, Jacuzzi, deck-chair, Finnish sauna, infrared sauna, steam bath, aroma steam bath, Laconium, fitness.

10.30 am – Check out and departure for Plovdiv

11.30 am – Sightseeing tour in the Old town of Plovdiv - Ethnographic Museum, Roman Stadium, St. Constantine and Helena Church, etc. Visit to the Roman Theatre, which was build in the 2nd century AD under the rule of the Roman emperor Trajan and is nowadays considered to be the largest surviving Roman construction in Bulgaria. Free time for shopping.

1.30 pm – Drive to Villa Yustina Winery

Welcome drink Brut “Villa Yustina”

“Following the wine road” within Villa Yustina Winery, combined with lecture about all the winemaking processes and visiting the enoteca where the history of Villa Yustina is kept. Guided visit of the park-vineyard and farm Villa Yustina, combined with a lecture about grape varieties and history of the region.

Lunch BBQ on the park-vineyard “Villa Yustina”. If the weather is cold or rainy the BBQ lunch will be organized in the wine cellar.

4.30 pm – Drive to Sofia (Hilton Hotel)
