Pamporovo is a Bulgarian winter ski resort, located at 1,650 m in the interior of the Rhodopes, at the foot of Mount Snezhanka. The main flow of tourists is in winter, because of the long winter season - often from December to April. Because of the beautiful nature and the fact that it is a good starting point for climbing Snezhanka Peak. Numerous hiking trails and huts shelter mountaineers in the summer. The resort is experiencing a lot of changes with the introduction of the Mechi Chal project, which aims to increase the capacity of the 15 already built slopes with those in the area of Mount Perelik. The renovation of the lifts, tracks and lifts, as well as the completion of the large-scale project, amounts to 250 million euros.
